BFA will continue its cooperation with the A-League

We are pleased to announce that the Basketball Federation of Armenia will continue its cooperation with the A-League, which owns the rights to host the Armenian Men's Championship.

Founded in 2017, the 2021-2022 season will be the 5th for the A League.

The President of the Basketball Federation of Armenia Hrachya Rostomyan said the following. "Thanks to the A-League, club basketball in Armenia has reached a new level, and in recent years the interest in basketball has significantly increased. However, we can not be satisfied with good transitional results we have, so the BFA made its proposals to continue operating the league before the start of the new season. In particular, it was possible to create a board in A-League, where the federation and clubs would be mainly represented. First of all, it is the wish of the clubs, which the Basketball Federation of Armenia and the A-League are obliged to take into account. I am glad that such board will be formed soon, which will play a big role in the decisions made."

The regular season of 2021-2022 of the A League is scheduled to start in October.
